The Fairlawn Volunteer Fire Department is located in the County of
Pulaski. Just outside the City of Radford and 50 miles southwest of
Roanoke . Organized in 1948 the Fairlawn Volunteer Fire Department
was Pulaski County's only Fire Protection in that end of the County.
The Fairlawn Volunteer Fire Department remains one of the busiest
fire departments each year. With a roster of thirty volunteer firemen,
the department operates five pieces of apparatus and responds to an
average of 150 calls a year. The departments busiest piece of
apparatus is it's rescue engine , "Rescue Engine 25".

ARRIVED. In service...
Fairlawn Fire Department Command vehicle is now completed and In
service to serve the Community Fairlawn and Pulaski County . Thank you to
everyone involved.
